For our stand and performance, we will include:
Here are the drawings of our stand. We will also show some examples of gossip like an example with wood and nails or the crumpling paper exercise. We would try to make our presentation the more eye catching and dinamic possible so people don't get bored. There will be 4-5 stations:
This is the bullseye we will make so the presentation can become more dynamic and to involve the audience.
We will put some sort of sticky notes and drawings on the mannequin to show how victims are affected/change with gossip.
1. We welcome the audience (parents, teachers, bach, primary)
2. Bullseye :

Introduction
1. We chose Gossip as our topic because we believe it is a huge problem in primary, school and all over the world. We've seen many people have been affected by it and we also know that it leads to other problems such as bulimia, anorexia, bullying and more. We also know that this is impossible to stop by ourselves, and nobody has enough power to make people not gossip, because we can only stop it if every individual has the will to stop, and the only way of having the will, is by getting to know all the problems it causes and really wanting to stop. Because every person controls their own words, we can't control them as if they were dummies.
2. We did an inquiry into:
Bullseye
If it lands in:
1. Posters: We will show some posters we did to explain the surveys we did and therefore show the audience the conditions of gossip in primary. We will have bar graphs tally charts and conclusions.
2. Video action: To show our action we would like to show them a video with pictures and short videos we filmed while doing our action. With the rest of the activities we will kind of do the action with our audience too. (workshops)
3. Nail and Wood/Paper : This is an activity in which every person has either a plank of wood, nails and a hammer or a paper. To the ones that have the wood, we will ask them to hammer a nail into it, and then take it out. And to the ones that have a paper, we will ask them to crumple and unwrinkle it. We will say that that is what happens with gossip... because neither the wood or the paper will ever be the same. The paper is still a little wrinkled and the wood has holes.
4. True or false: We will ask the audience some questions and depending on their answers we will explain why it is right or wrong. Questions:
5. Mannequinn: We will say the mannequin is a victim of gossip and we will show the way it changes physically and emotionally with sticky notes, drawing on him, thinking bubbles and more.
6. 3 Q's before gossip: We will show them a video:
7. Balloons activity: There will be balloons which the audience will explode with darts. Inside the balloon there will be a kind of gossip, and we will ask them to try to put it back in and blow up the balloon. They will not be able to do it, so we will explain that that is what happens with gossip, once it is out, there is no way of putting it back in.
8. Free choice: The audience can choose the activity they want to do next.
Remaining information
Social communication/gossip is related to media because through social networks, phones, smartphones and other technological sources a lot of gossip is created and many people can be affected. Because many people can communicate much easier through technological sources than face to face, plus many people prefer to use social networks for mostly every type of communication, and people can't prove who said what.
Gossip is connected to many other problems such as bullying, peer pressure, depression and more.
Balloons
Candies: People will explote the balloons wich are full of candies
The video was made with the photos we took during the action. We carried out the action with the second and fifth grade students. The idea was to have the students comprehend the causes and negative effects that misleading information/gossip has. The activities, mostly games, were aimed to have the kids concentrated and participating, at the same time that they were getting the message.
Depression is a mental disorder that makes those who suffer from it, not find happiness in what would normally make them happy. This desease can inhibit people from having a peaceful life and, in the worst of cases, can lead to suicide. A victim of gossip can develop this desease.
